Matter = Energy = Force
When
we work with energy ..
•
Are
you aware of it?
•
Do
you know what it is?
•
Can
you differentiate or understand its
nature?
•
Can
it affect you?
•
Do
you get tired, exhausted – have to ‘clear’
yourself?
If so, what can we do to help us, as healers?
Notice – be
aware – be attentive – be mindful – be conscious
We work with the energies of life, which may also be the forces of
illness
you may ignore them
you may clear them
you may move them
you may neutralize them
you may over power them
and you MAY take them on
The three days will cover:
•
The
hierarchy of forces – their realm and rank
•
The
nature of each realm
•
The
behaviour of each force and the recognition of
them
•
Actions to take
to address, neutralize, protect and understand their action and
dynamic
•
Protective
measure, appropriate handling or techniques for each ‘force’ or
energy.
The 3 days will enable you to go back to your practice with an
understanding of the complex interwoven aspects of ‘energies’ that
are the mainstay topic of conversation in the modern lexicon of
therapeutic practices.
It will present
practical ways to prevent burn out, exhaustion, depletion and how
not to be affected by these energies / forces. In so doing, the
knowledge you will acquire will make you work more precise, and
will provide you with a framework to help your patients in a deeper
and more fulfilling way
Solihin Thom DO DAc
has
spent 27 years teaching an ontological understanding of the various
life forces that we encounter in clinical practice. This knowledge,
gleaned from many different sources [Christian, Lurianic Qaballah,
Sufism and parallel to the work of present day luminaries such as
Graves, Beck, Wilbur and Schumacher] as well as extensive personal
inquiry, Solihin, the developer of an Ontological therapeutic
modality taught worldwide, presents a workshop for practitioners of
the healing professions.
Contemporary understanding gives us the recognition that our state,
dysfunction and illnesses of our clients and ourselves stem from
both internal and external factors.
The prevalent paradigm is that some ‘thing’ influences us to become
unwell. Some element, random or otherwise, accident or force exerts
a trigger to initiate a cascade or series of events. The event
alters our cellular environment and physiology, tissue and organ
function and may, if unchecked, precipitate us towards dysfunction,
ill health or disease.
Many practitioners employ both orthodox and / or complimentary
approaches that recognize implicitly differing energies that affect
their clients. They may name
them
according to their training or understanding. Many practice
techniques to remove or clear, release or change these energies and
their attendant force.
Now is your chance to fully delineate the differing forces and
energies that reside within and around us in our environment. Learn
a definitive model and experiential understanding of the many
forces that exist – the recognition of them, their ‘feel’, place or
rank in the hierarchy of energies. Learn about their nature or
essence and what they really mean to both the client and you as
practitioner. Why do some of them affect you? What do you have to
learn about these energies; their ultimate role and relationship to
human life?
This is an opportunity for ALL health practitioners – those in the
healing arts – to learn from each other. What we have in common is
a desire to help those in need. However it is us as practitioners,
who also need to care for ourselves, to make sure we are not
affected by what is released, shed, discarded by our clients when
they visit us.
Biography
Solihin Thom with his wife Alicia, founded Ad Humanitas in 1991 in
the USA. A small company dedicated to bringing a grounded,
practical yet inspired approach to health care, whose main emphasis
is an ontological approach to health and wellbeing. Solihin
graduated and practiced as an osteopath, acupuncturist and
kinesiologist in London in a very successful health care clinic,
one of the first holistic practices in London, before emigrating to
the States. He left full time private practice to concentrate on
teaching and developing the ontological approach to wellbeing that
has been his mission since the late eighties.
The work is divided into three main groups – (1) therapeutic
modalities for health care practitioners, (2) personal development
workshops and (3) personal and group coaching.
The work is taught in the USA, UK, Austria and Russia with inroads
in many other countries. The therapeutic work is taught in modular
form, building the practitioner’s capabilities into the capacity to
work with a complex non-verbal dialogue system that enables very
precise ontological patterns to arise and be illustrated in the
client’s story, and specific therapeutic modalities be utilized to
augment a resumption of health.
Solihin commands attention in health care communities of America,
often being a speaker at the Cranial Academy and the American
Holistic Medical Association. He often speaks at conventions put on
by private philanthropic institutions, such as the Guerrand-Hermes
Foundation for Peace, and public events such as the Edinburgh
Festival for Middle Eastern Spirituality.
